Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Hyallo. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, contact us before using the service.
1. The service
Hyallo is a prepaid, browser-based calling service that lets you call regular phone numbers (landlines and mobiles) around the world over the internet. Calls are carried through our telephony partners. Hyallo is not a replacement for a traditional phone line.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address using one-time login links; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for all activity on your Hyallo account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
3. Free trial call
New accounts can make one free trial call of up to 1 minute. The trial is limited to one per person; creating multiple accounts to repeat it is not allowed. We may change or withdraw the trial offer at any time.
4. Credits and payments
Calls are paid with prepaid credits purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. Each destination shows its per-minute rate before you call, and the rate shown when your call starts is the rate applied to that call. If a call drops due to connection issues, you are only charged for the time you were actually connected.
5. Refunds
If something went wrong with a call or a purchase, contact us and we will make it right. Refunds of unused credit are handled case by case and returned to the original payment method.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Hyallo for unlawful purposes, including fraud, harassment, unsolicited telemarketing, robocalls, spam, or caller-ID misuse. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse and may block destinations showing unusual traffic patterns.
7. No emergency calls
Hyallo does not support emergency calls (such as 911, 112, 190 or any other emergency number). Never rely on Hyallo to reach emergency services — use a regular phone line or mobile phone instead.
8. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". Call quality depends on your internet connection and on the networks of local carriers, which we do not control. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyallo's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount of credit in your account at the time the claim arose.
10. Changes and termination
You can stop using Hyallo and close your account at any time. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
